Christmas 2020 may have been celebrated a little differently, but for many of us, one tradition remained – overindulging.
Whether your vice was Netflix marathons or never-ending tubs of chocolate, taking a break from your diet or exercise regime may just mean you started the New Year with a few bad skin days.
Getting your skincare regime back on track is, therefore, a must, and what better way to do just that than with a detox?
We’ve all heard of body detoxes, but undertaking a detox that specifically targets skin health is possible and can reveal some fabulous results.
Your face, in particular, will benefit from a well-timed detox, and it all starts with our Total Detox Facial.
Read on to discover more about our Total Detox Facial, its many benefits, the ingredients that make it, and the morning and evening routines you should stick to in order to reveal the very best results for your skin type.

The star ingredients behind the detox
As with all our formulations, the products in our Total Detox Facial are made using organic, all-natural ingredients.
Scented Sicilian lemons, Neem extracts and Arginine are just some of the star ingredients that feature in our detox range, and each reveals fabulous results for your skin.
Sicilian lemon improves your complexion, balances oiliness, and delivers many powerful antioxidants to give your skin a much-needed boost.
Neem’s antibacterial qualities have a healing and hydrating effect on the skin. Arginine – the amino acid that makes up wheat germ – also keeps oil under control. Its collagen-boosting qualities are also renowned as The Derm Review explains:
“Lastly, arginine is often used in anti-ageing skincare products because of its potential ability to support collagen production… Collagen improves skin firmness and decreases signs of ageing, so this potential property of arginine may help support skin health and anti-ageing. In addition to these anti-ageing effects, the potential ability of arginine to support collagen production may also help to speed wound healing.”
Your new morning and evening routines
Let us take you through the morning and evening routines that will shape your facial detox and harness the best results.
Morning routine:
Step 1 – Cleanse to perfection with our Active Face Cleanse Gel. Simply massage into damp skin, working up a lather on the face and neck, before rinsing with cool water. Be sure to avoid the eye area.
Step 2 – Next apply the Detox Face Mask. Be generous by covering your face and neck with a thick layer. Leave it to work its magic for 15 to 20 minutes and rinse with warm water.
The mask should only be used once or twice a week. It can also be dabbed on spots or blemishes and left overnight to encourage even faster healing.
Step 3 – Finish by massaging the Active Face Hydrating Gel into your face and neck to give your skin all it needs to heal and hydrate.
Evening routine:
Simply repeat step 1 and step 3 of the morning routine.
By making these easy morning and evening routines a part of your day, you can spring clean your skin a little earlier than planned to reveal nourished, revitalised and ultra-soft skin in weeks.
